The 2007 Campaign Results
As a national Toys for Tots sponsor since 2005, The UPS Store and Mail Boxes Etc. network has raised more than $1.3 million for the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. These monies helped the organization deliver more than 108,000 toys, books and other gifts to nearly 43,000 children.
In honor of Toys for Tots’ 60th anniversary, participating locations conducted a “60 Days of Giving” campaign. Mail Boxes Etc., Inc., franchisor of Mail Boxes Etc., jump started the campaign by contributing $60,000 - one thousand dollars for each year the organization has been bringing smiles to needy children across the country. “60 Days of Giving” officially launched on Friday, October 26, at the Marine Corps Marathon press conference in Washington, D.C.
From October 26 through December 24, Mail Boxes Etc. locations offered customers the opportunity to purchase Toys for Tots donation cards for $1 each, with 100 percent of proceeds supporting local Toys for Tots efforts.
"We have shipped millions of holiday packages over the past 28 years, but none as important as helping Toys for Tots deliver smiles to children across the country." – Mail Boxes Etc., Inc. President Stuart Mathis
